A little bit about us and what we do....

Flooring Sales

We sell ALL types of flooring for domestic, commercial & contract use. Our most popular floor coverings are: carpet, natural flooring like seagrass or sisal, Amtico & Karndean, Vinyl, solid & engineered wood, laminate and safety flooring like Altro.

Free Quotations & Deliveries

Within a 15 mile radius of our showroom in Monmouth, South Wales, we will come and visit you to do a no obligation quote, free of charge. Your quote will be given to you in writing or by email.

If we are supplying and installing your flooring then we will always deliver it free of charge.

Fitting & Installation

Country Coverings will supply your floor and fit it for you. If you want to buy from us and fit it yourself, that’s fine. If you have a floor covering already and would like us to fit it for you, that’s fine too!

Our installers have 40 years worth of experience between them and are fully employed by us - they are not sub-contractors.

Furthermore, we’ve been trained by Karndean to install their products - so we’re experts at fitting Amtico and Cavalio as well.

You’ll also find that our fitting, underlay & accessory charges are significantly lower than our more famous high street competitors.

Sub-floor Preparation

If the surface underneath your carpet or floor covering needs attention, we can do that as well. There’s no need to call a builder: we can cut & fit plywood, apply a self levelling screed or waterproof a damp surface - we’ll do most things to your sub-floor in order to ensure that the flooring you choose looks great when it’s installed.

Disposal & Furniture

With prior arrangement we’ll gladly uplift and dispose of your old floor. We will only move furniture with prior agreement as well - our public liability insurance does not allow us to move appliances & furniture and so if we do agree to move room contents for you, it will be at your own risk. Thank you for your understanding.
